Cutest Dog Contest at Celebrate Neosho

Saturday, June 27th

Bring your four-legged friend to the Cutest Dog Contest sponsored by A Dog’s Dream during the 2026 Celebrate Neosho! This fun, Independence Day-themed contest invites pups of all shapes, sizes, and personalities to show off their red, white, and blue spirit. Categories include up to 35 lbs., 36 lbs. and up, and Ugliest Dog. Registration begins at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 27, with the contest starting at 6:00 PM on the northwest side of the square. Whether your dog is cute, goofy, patriotic, or a little bit of everything, we can’t wait to see all the wagging tails!

APRI Dog Show Presented by BFF Kennel Club

Saturday, August 8th

Join BFF Kennel Club for the April Dog Show on August 8, 2026, at 700 Field Ave in Neosho. The show begins at 9:00 AM, with mail-in entries due by July 25. Participants must provide APRI papers and rabies certificates, and guests can bring canned food or dog food items to receive tickets for the door prize drawing.

2nd Annual Cruisin’ for Canines Fundraiser

Saturday, September 26th

Join A Dog’s Dream for the 2nd Annual Cruisin’ for Canines on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at VFW Post 4142 in Neosho. This family-friendly festival and car show will feature classic cars, trucks, jeeps, motorcycles, hot rods, live music, food, raffles, adoption opportunities, educational speakers, and more. Proceeds benefit A Dog’s Dream’s Adoption Program and help support their mission of finding forever homes for retired breeding dogs.
